CSL Round 28 was full of thrilling and decisive matches that determined the fate of several teams in the relegation group. Despite this, Sydney FC held on for a draw and remained in the top six. In the fourth match of the day, Adelaide United faced off against Central Coast Mariners. Adelaide United took control early on and dominated the game, scoring three goals in the first half to put the game away. However, Central Coast Mariners refused to give up and fought hard in the second half, finally tying the game in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as Adelaide United went on to win 4-2. Overall, CSL Round 28 was full of exciting and unpredictable matches that determined the fate of several teams in the relegation group.
