The Chinese city of Zhejiang held a draw for the second round of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, with the result being a draw between two teams from different continents. The first team to play was CSKA Moscow, who were up against a side from Portugal, Sporting CP. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with both sides failing to find the back of the net despite plenty of opportunities. In the second half, it was CSKA who took the lead through a goal by Alexandre Pato, but Sporting CP levelled things up shortly afterwards thanks to a header by João Moutinho. Despite the draw, there were some positives for both teams. CSKA will now face a tough task in their next match, while Sporting CP will be hoping that they can build on this result and continue their progress in the competition. |
